Kenyon and his basketball team competed in another tournament yesterday. They went undefeated 3-0 and won. Jon and I were not able to go because of work. Luckily we have good friends who are willing to take him for the day and cheer him on. I love these boys and their parents. They all play so well together and really encourage each other. They have great coaches who not only teach them about the game, but more importantly life lessons, so that when this time of their lives is all said and done they will only be better because of it. We are so blessed for this opportunity. I will truly be sad when it's over. Some may think its a lot of money and running around . We look at it as an opportunity for Kenyon to do the things he loves with the best of friends around him. We hope that keeping him involved in sports will help him strive to be a better person inside and out and hopefully help keep him out of trouble. The older they get those temptations get more and more. As long as he stays involved with sports and around these wonderful friends I know he will go far!!
