Bulldawgs Baseball

Over Memorial weekend we traveled back to Utah so Kenyon could play ball with the Northern Utah Bulldawgs. We always enjoy going and watching him play with this team. A lot of the boys have played together in the past years, so we have a great time seeing friends and making some fantastic memories!! The Memorial tournament with Rocky Mountain is always a competetive weekend. 48 different teams competed in the 13u division alone. The boys played the most fantastic ball that I have ever seen out of them. They went 4-0 for the weekend and ended up seeding 2nd place!! (Only missed first place by 2 runs, seed 1 allowed 6 runs total and Bulldawgs allowed 8). We were all looking forward to playing championship games on Memorial day but the games were postponed because of rain. We will go back up on June 17th to finish what they started.

Team members: (Front L-R) Dillon, Keetch, Cort, Peyton, (Top L-R) CJ, Triston, Hyatt, Hayden, Bryant, Kenyon

A teenager in the house

13, what a number!! It's crazy to think that we have a teenager at our house. Kenyon turned 13 back in December, I am just slow blogging about it. I picked him up from basketball and told him to get ready because we were going to Vegas for the night. (He didn't want to go because he had school and basketball practice the next day). I made him come with...I know I'm a mean mom...

We stayed the night at the Stratosphere. Pretty cool hotel for the kids. They loved going to the top and looking out over Vegas. They were all amazed at how high up we were. On our way back to our room... I had a couple surprises waiting for the kids... Grandma Sharon and Triston had flown to Vegas to meet us and come and stay with us for a few days. It was such a great surprise.. I was so proud of myself, grandma, and T for keeping it from the kids for over a month.

*The next day the boys road all the rides on top of the Stratosphere, and we played in the arcade.

We spent the time at our house playing basketball, going to basketball games of Kenyon's, T came to the dentist and lunch with me, and the kids played lots of cards with my mom.

It was so much fun having them come, I didn't want them to leave. Triston is like a son to me, I love that kid like my own. It's so nice to know that even though we are miles apart, the boys remain best friends.

The holidays 2010

Thanksgiving was different this year. We had just went back to Utah 2 weeks earlier so we decided it was to hard to go again. So we got together with our Arizona families for Thanksgiving and had lots of fun. We ate lots of yummy food and just hung out all day.

CHRISTMAS

We left on Weds morning and drove 10 hours to my moms house. The kids did great. We only stopped twice. (Once to eat in Cedar City and once at Cabellas in Lehi). Poor Kenyon was sick but still wanted to go spend Christmas with family and friends. The kids stayed with my mom and Jon and I went to the house.(It was hard being there knowing it was probably the last time the house would be ours).
Christmas Eve we always go to my dads. It has been a tradition since I can remember. My step mom cooks all the food and we just visit and catch up with my step brother and sisters. WE were missing Shane and Katie this year. Poor Katie was in the hospital with a kidney stone. That night we spent the night at my moms.
Christmas day Kids got up about 8am and we opened gifts. Santa brought Kenyon a Fat head of his favorite team the St. Louis Cardinals, and baseball camp in January. Kamberlyn a ihome for her ipod and $50 itunes gift card, Klaire a Jessie doll and two nut crackers(Don't know where the obsession with nut crackers came from??)

**My Family**

We headed to Salt Lake on Sunday to meet up with Jon's sister and her family. We were super excited cuz we hadn't seen them in 3 years!! We stayed at an awesome hotel (The holiday inn express in West Valley) that had the best swimming pool ever. I'm talking kids toy and a water slide in it. Kids had a blast with their cousins. We ate some dinner at the training table (One of Candice favorite places), and got some pics of the kids together. I couldn't believe how big they are all getting.

New Year...lets go back a few months

Yep gotta play catch-up again. The past few months have been crazy with moving and trying to get the kids settled into their new lives. so what have we been up to?

Summer Fun
WE got to Arizona the end of July and school started August 12th so we didn't have much time to play. We spent a few days down by the lake. Kids love the sand and water. Went boating with some friends.(Pretty sure a boat will be in the Rowley family soon). Spent lots of nights at the park. The summer nights are awesome here. Kenyon started baseball with the Kingman Krush. What a great bunch a people. They welcomed him with open arms to the team. Jon is even coaching again. Camping in Flagstaff with our friends the Schardes and lots of baseball games... I'm right at home here

School year 2010-2011

Kamberlyn is in the 5th grade, Kenyon is in 7th grade. Both kids have adjusted well and doing fantastic in school. They have both received awards for grades.

**First day of school...Yep they wear uniforms!!

Klaire's 4th Birthday

Miss K celebrated her birthday and we were lucky enough to have grandma Sylvia here with us. She received money, 2 pillow pets, and lots of toys from family and friends.

Halloween

Lots of trunk or treats in this town. The girls ended up going Friday night with our friends to their church trunk or treat, then Saturday night was our ward trunk or treat, then Sunday they walked around the neighbor hood for some good old fashion Trick or treating. (Notice how I said the girls...Yep Kenyon told me he was officially to old this year..Boo Hoo).

**Kam was a DEAD Cheerleader...Klaire was Jessie from Toy Story 3

Our friends the Olsen,s had a party. I absolutely LOVE dressing up on Halloween. It's just fun to be silly once in a while. Jon doesn't always like the outfits I buy him but he is always a good sport. SEE BELOW!!
