Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. My Christmas started early this year. Jon decided to get me a new car but didn't dare pick it out himself, so on Saturday the 22nd he took me looking. I found a 2006 GMC Yukon that I absolutely loved. Then he says Merry Christmas to you, we are getting a new car. He is so stinking cute. The kids were so excited especially Kenyon cuz he gets the whole 3rd seat to himself. (No more touching his sister.)

Kenyon really wanted a nintendo wii from Santa. Luckily Santa is the bomb and delivered one to our house. The only problem was Santa gave it to Kenyon and Kamberlyn so now he has to share it with his sister. The have both been really good about sharing. Kenyon also got baseball jerseys and WII accessories. Kamberlyn is in love with High School Musical. She got lots of HSM stuff so she was pretty happy.

Little miss Klaire really didn't know what to think. I thought she would be totally into it (Especially the unwrapping part) but she didn't really care much. She was pretty cute opening her first present. Here are some snap shots.

How time flies!!

Kenyon turned 10 on December 7th. (I am sure that I'm not that old!!) I thought it would be fun to post his hospital picture. It's hard to believe he started out so small. (6 lbs. 12 oz.) He is so much fun and such a good kid. He absolutely LOVES baseball so for his b-day we got him a Derek Jeter hurricane. We set it up in the garage so when he got home from school he saw it. It was so cute. He kept saying how this was the best day of his life.

We took 5 extra boys bowling and to pizza plus. It was a lot of fun but man they are wild together. We were suppose to go to the fun center in Logan but it snowed all day and the roads were bad. Nate , Jake, Tristen, and Bridger play baseball with us and Carson has been Kenyon's best bud since 1st grade. He is so lucky to have such good kids for friends.

Hoop shoot

Kenyon won the hoop shoot contest at his school and had to compete in Ogden on Weds night against about 15 other 10-11 year old boys. Well can I just say how proud I am of him. Talk about pressure. You have to get up there in front of all the other boys and not to mention a gym full of parents. It is dead quiet, your not even suppose to take pictures ( I did sneak a couple). Each boy gets 25 shots. The boy that does the best goes on to the next level.
I don't think Kenyon was prepared for how good most of these boys are. The boy that won made 21 out of 25 shots!! He did practiced after school quite a bit but man it's as much a mental thing as it is physical. Kenyon didn't place but he was glad he got to go and experience it. I am so proud of him for breaking out of his comfort zone and trying something new.

Anniversery

9 YEARS!!!
Today Jon and I have been married 9 years. We met when we were sophomores in high school so we were just 15. It's so hard to believe that I have known him half of my life. He is such a wonderful husband and father. We have enjoyed raising 3 kids together and going through all the ups and downs life has to offer.
Friday we are going to celebrate since today we are both working. We decided to pamper each other and have a night at the spa! (I am so excited!) We are also going to do a little Christmas shopping and go out to dinner.

Klaire turns 1

Klaire turnes one

Our little princess is 1 year old!!

It is so hard to believe that we have had Klaire for a whole year. I think back and can't remember what life was like without her. We are so blessed to have this beautiful, happy spirit in our family. She brings so much joy to all of us everyday. She has us all wrapped around her little finger (especially her daddy)!

I am finally walking...
She is such a stubborn little stink. She will only walk on her terms.
She refuses to walk if you try to make her.
Klaire has quite the vocabulary...
For a one year old she can say a hand full of words.
1. Hi
2. bye bye
3. ah oh
4. baby
5. blankie
6. me (this is what she calls our cat, its short for meow)
7. nummy nummy (any sort of food)
8. no
9. mom
10. da da
11. piggy

Halloween 2007

We decided to stay home this year and hit the trunk or treat at our ward. The weather was terrific. After that we let the kids go door to door with some of their friends. (I know that door to door is almost unheard of now days.) Kenyon couldn't decide what he wanted to be so he went with the easy baseball player.

Kamberlyn wanted to be a witch but I couldn't find her a cute witch costume. Well her friend had a darling witch costume that her mom got at Kmart. So we went there and bonus for us it was half off .

Little miss Klaire was an elephant. She looked so cute but she absolutely hated the hat!!

Here is the kids carving their pumpkins.

Getting the hang of this

I guess I need to catch up on our lives. We have had such a great year. Back in September we were able to go to Tennessee and visit my sister in law and her fam. We started off our trip in St. Louis because Kenyon is a huge Cardinals fan. It was so much fun even though Klair was a little hard. She is such a good baby and a trooper. The Cardinals game was amazing. It was the first major league game for the whole family. (I have a feeling there is more of them to come).

only just begun

Well I have been reading Candice's blog for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. It gives me a chance to see how life is in Tennessee. I never thought about doing my own blog until my friend Keribeth had me look at hers. It is so cute that I thought what the heck. I can so do that. Even if only 2 people look at it. (Yes that is you Candice and Keribeth.) So thanks guys I think I will really like this.
