A whole Decade!!

Kam turned 10 this year. I can remember when I turned 10 and it doesn't seem that long ago. My how time flies. We had to celebrate a few weeks early in Utah since she was gonna be in Arizona on her birthday. So she was lucky and had two parties.

This was in Arizona. We had our friends the Adam's family over for dinner, cake and ice cream. Kam got an i-pod touch for her present.

Back in Utah a few weeks earlier we celebrated with a slumber party. Just 9 of her closest friends. The girls ate, played games, and enjoyed spending one last day with Kam. She has some very close friends in Utah that I know she will have for life.

NYC

**Yep I went there too!! Jamie, Jerian, Keetch, Kamberlyn, Blake, Kim, & Hyatt flew into NYC the morning of July 1st. We met up with them @ Yankees Stadium. They were able to take a bus tour around the city. Us on the other hand barely made it to the game. By the time we took the train from Boston to NYC, took our stuff to the hotel, and got a taxi to the game it had already started.

**What an awesome new stadium. It is HUGE!! Kenyon is the only one of us that can say he has been to both the old & the new Yankee Stadiums!(Lucky little shit)

Boston

YEP I went there!! I took my boys Kenyon and Triston to Boston for one day. It was a fast trip but well worth it. The Nobles joined us for the fun. We took a red eye flight on June 29th. We got into Boston around 9am. Luckily when we got to the hotel they let us check in early. Kristi and I went straight to bed. The boys (Gary, Brantzen, Kenyon and T) went to breakfast then came to the room for a little nap. We got up and took the subway to Fenway Park.................

After the bottom of the 7th we were able to go up to the GREEN MONSTER SEATS!! The ticket holders usually leave then especially if the Sox are losing. It was an awesome experience being in these seats. Now I can say I SAT THERE!!
FYI: The poor kid in Left field was being heckled by some punk kids sitting below us. They kept yelling "Hey Joyce it's coming to you get your glove on" and Joyce had a great hit earlier in the game so they were yelling "Hey Joyce now your batting average is 1.75"......Kenyon and T were laughing their butts off

Fenway Park is so awesome cuz it is so old. This was inside the stadium. There were also lots of tunnels and levels in the stadium. I loved how all the seats were good seats.

*** The Red Sox's lost that night but we had a great time. I will forever remember my first trip to Boston. The Nobles were so much fun to be with and I got to spend some quality time with my boys.

***After the game we went back to the hotel so we could get a few (I'm talking 3) hours of sleep before we had to get up to go catch the Amtrak train to NY. Kristi and I had everything figured out. Well it would have helped if someone would have told us that the bus doesn't start running until 6am. We had to be on the train @ 6am. Needless to say we had a moment of panic (I'm talking running around the airport and flagging down the Hertz car rental van). We were able to finally get a taxi ride to the train station and we made our train. Thank you Kristi

Dance like nobody is watching

Kam danced with Vadels again this year and loved it. They placed high @ all their comps. She will miss her friends and teachers when we move. She has learned and improved so much throughout the years! Her and Makilee even did a duet together. They went to two competitions where they placed 1st in both.

Goodbye Nemo...

The hardest part is not knowing... We left for vacation...I put him in the garage(just like we have done time and time again).. and pulled away. My friend called me to tell me he was out on the front porch. That's OK...he always comes back...

Days go by..Devin is coming by to feed him but has never seen him...his food has been disappearing....surly it has to be him eating it right?

We come home and realize he is not coming home.. He is gone... nowhere to be found...what happened to our loving cat? The wondering is heart breaking...We cry a lot.. 7 years he has been a part of our family...and now he is just gone.

**Man we have had Nemo for 7 years. He came to our family on 6-6-03. He was a freaky little kitten. We choose his name cuz the kids had just went to the movie to see finding Nemo.

**He made it through 2 moves(once to Sylvia's, and then to our home in Tremonton). We was looking forward to having him chase lizards in AZ!

** We even added another child to our family 3 years after we got him (which he wasn't too happy about)!

** He was a large cat. Everyone that saw him would say he was huge!!(He was Fat and happy..A good sign of being loved)

** He loved to go exploring @ night but would be on the porch in the morning ready to come in to go to bed!!(He would sleep anywhere the kids wouldn't bother him)

**Jon shaved him every summer..He would tie him to the poll..put gloves on..and go to town..(He looked ridiculous when he was done..I know other cats would make fun of him..All that remained was a lions tail..He had to feel so much better though right?

** I would get so mad @ him when he would wake me up in the middle of the night to go outside...Once I even slipped in his throw up..Super MAD about that one!!

** I loved him like I love my children..and we are all heart broken.
(I hope you are happy, where ever you may be)XOXO

Closing the door

Final season....
This is so hard to say.
I have truly enjoyed every year with these boys.
Sure they make you mad and frustrated @ times but I wouldn't take back any of it.
I have watched all of these boys grow and develop into young men over the past four years..become better ball players... and even closer friends.
I have also gained some life long friends along this journey.
.
.
.
But for now this chapter in our lives is over...
Thank you for sharing your children with me and a profound love of this game!!

Cruise Days 8-10

Day 8
We spent a fun day @ sea just chillin in the sun!! Mini golfing and riding the water slides. We ate and ate and ATE!! I only gained 5 lbs. Not too bad huh?

Day 9
Our boat docked in Florida that morning and it was FREEZING COLD!! I think it was warmer in Tremonton than it was in Orlando that day. We had to wait a while for our shuttle to take us to the hotel. Most of us had on shorts and flip flops. We all put on our jeans and sweatshirts really fast. After we warmed up in our rooms we took the bus to a mall for lunch and shopping.

Day 10
Up early to catch a plane home. It was nice to finally get home and see the kids. We missed them & they really missed us. Our trip was so fun. We enjoyed spending time with friends. It was especially good to have some much needed alone time with Jon!!

Day 7- Costa Maya, Mexico

2/11/2010

Another beach day!! I love the white sandy beaches so when we had the choice to go see the Mayan Ruins or go to the beach...we chose the beach. (Jon and I went to some ruins the last time we were in Mexico.) This was fun because it was an all inclusive deal. That means we got food and drinks all day long. And let me tell you Jon took advantage of the free drinks that day!! I enjoyed another massage on the beach (I could do this daily ya know).

** Also this was our last elegant night on the ship. **
