Hoop shoot
Kenyon won the hoop shoot contest at his school and had to compete in Ogden on Weds night against about 15 other 10-11 year old boys. Well can I just say how proud I am of him. Talk about pressure. You have to get up there in front of all the other boys and not to mention a gym full of parents. It is dead quiet, your not even suppose to take pictures ( I did sneak a couple). Each boy gets 25 shots. The boy that does the best goes on to the next level.
I don't think Kenyon was prepared for how good most of these boys are. The boy that won made 21 out of 25 shots!! He did practiced after school quite a bit but man it's as much a mental thing as it is physical. Kenyon didn't place but he was glad he got to go and experience it. I am so proud of him for breaking out of his comfort zone and trying something new.

Anniversery
Today Jon and I have been married 9 years. We met when we were sophomores in high school so we were just 15. It's so hard to believe that I have known him half of my life. He is such a wonderful husband and father. We have enjoyed raising 3 kids together and going through all the ups and downs life has to offer.
Friday we are going to celebrate since today we are both working. We decided to pamper each other and have a night at the spa! (I am so excited!) We are also going to do a little Christmas shopping and go out to dinner.

Klaire turnes one
Our little princess is 1 year old!!
It is so hard to believe that we have had Klaire for a whole year. I think back and can't remember what life was like without her. We are so blessed to have this beautiful, happy spirit in our family. She brings so much joy to all of us everyday. She has us all wrapped around her little finger (especially her daddy)!
I am finally walking...
She is such a stubborn little stink. She will only walk on her terms.
She refuses to walk if you try to make her.
Klaire has quite the vocabulary...
For a one year old she can say a hand full of words.
1. Hi
2. bye bye
3. ah oh
4. baby
5. blankie
6. me (this is what she calls our cat, its short for meow)
7. nummy nummy (any sort of food)
8. no
9. mom
10. da da
11. piggy
Halloween 2007
We decided to stay home this year and hit the trunk or treat at our ward. The weather was terrific. After that we let the kids go door to door with some of their friends. (I know that door to door is almost unheard of now days.) Kenyon couldn't decide what he wanted to be so he went with the easy baseball player.
Kamberlyn wanted to be a witch but I couldn't find her a cute witch costume. Well her friend had a darling witch costume that her mom got at Kmart. So we went there and bonus for us it was half off .
Little miss Klaire was an elephant. She looked so cute but she absolutely hated the hat!!
Here is the kids carving their pumpkins.
